If I remember correctly its a F41 box that has a close ratio(2.5 turns lock to lock) it can be found in a 80's z model Monte Carlo. It is moderated difficulty. You need a pitman arm puller to get it done and a impact gun is highly recommended but no necessary.

If you are not using a separate amp for the component speakers then I recommend "Memphis audio" speakers. They sound awesome!

I don't know where you are located but putting an older engine in a newer truck is a no-no in a lot of states. Just FYI

Don't drop it. Everything looks better with a little rake to it.

When I ride I always wear leathers. I wear earplugs too, and I ride crotch rockets that are much more quiet. It's more to do with wind noise. I agree that guys that ride Harleys do just want attention.

Re: What did you do to your SY/TY today? I did all I could today (cause of my shoulder surgery). I ordered new a-arms, tie rod ends shocks, ignition module, coil. I am going to the junk yard this weekend to pull a Jeep steering shaft. My Ty-clone should handle beautifully after I get it all on.

Thanks y'all. I really like this forum so far it is a tight group of freindly knowledgeable people. I just had shoulder surgery yesterday so I wont be too active until I heal a little bit. For now I'm just going to be collecting parts for when I'm strong enough to install them. It needs all new...

I saw an all black Ty with black rims, drive through the parking lot at the Applebees near/in Freehold last night. Who was it? I was in the parking lot with my Ty-clone.

Well I'm having shoulder surgery this week. So everything is getting put on hold for a few months. But I will have a big pile of new parts to install when I am all better!
