Buying my first Typhoon :)

Re: Buying my first Typhoon :)

I am 18. I have been working at getting a Typhoon for years, and everytime something comes up. Last time, I had to buy my father a truck. Time before that, my car broke down and I had to buy a daily driver. I know what you guys are picturing, but I am a responsible person, and the only reason I am even considering this Typhoon is because of the fact that he will be willing to take payments on it. I would love to buy a different Typhoon, but that would mean waiting until the beginning of next year. I figure I can buy this one now, let it sit in the garage, and buy another come March 2013.

Working at getting a Ty for years? What, 2 years? You are an idiot. You're young, immature, and obviously very ignorant.

None of what you're saying makes any sense. You're gonna buy this truck, paint it, and let it sit in the garage intil March of next year. Yet, you won't pass on this truck because you wont be able to buy another one until next year. What's the point of buying this one if it's going to just sit in the garage until you can get another one. You're willing to waste $12000 on an overpriced truck just to let it sit in the garage? Come on, man. You cant be that stupid. You may as well not buy this one if its only going to sit in the garage until you buy another. You're wasting $12k to have it just sit. Gtfo of here. Seriously. You're a kid with some far-fetched dreams and retarded rationale.

Find another truck. Please.

Re: Buying my first Typhoon :)

I know people, it would be more like $1,000 in supplies.

No one in their right mind is going to do a complete, correct repaint for free. A scuff n shoot, maybe. But definitely not correct. I'm betting they won't R&I a single thing. Not the mirrors, the door handles, the antenna, the roof rack, the glass, and definitely not the cladding.

Good luck. You're gonna need it.

The sad thing is that you got lied to and that car has none of the stuff he told you the car has a stock ls motor and nothing more!! You got took!! this car is not worth no where near $6000!! Just a warning to people looking at this car

he states he has a build sheet for the motor, so we will see.

So you got burned on that car and are now going to throw away $4000 too much on 80s Ty?

Dude...

Re: Buying my first Typhoon :)

I encourage you to go buy it. Personally I think you and the Ty will be a good match but one BIG favor first.........If you are a bounty hunter for your Daddy, how about snapping a picture of your official badge and posting it for us doubting peeps. I think you are a bag of hot air

Maybe you are the current owner of the Ty who started this thread hoping it would influence someone else to "jump" on buying the truck quick. I see it is still listed on ebay and I see the majority of legal residents in the USA feel it is not even worth $6000 yet.

If you are legit and do end up jumping into this trap, enjoy the journey, Bozo but don't repaint the Ty. The current paint job fits you to the tee (adding a lil pink to it would be ok) ;)

I have sold all of those vehicles, other than the talon, which is fully built. I can take a picture of my badge, that's not a problem. Nice try though guys.

right, is that why youre desperately searching for Subarus and Mitsubishis right now? Stick with what you know kid, besides you can get those things at dealerships, which will allow you to put $2000 down and $500 a month.

Re: Buying my first Typhoon :)

I'm not searching for anything. I was trying to find a decent awd vehicle. I can definitely say I will not frequent this forum. Nobody is even willing to look at it to see what is wrong. There was one helpful guy the whole time I have been here. Congratulations, you have all shown true colors.

soooo, searching and finding mean something different to you?? Looking, searching, finding.... all the same shit dude. Once again, you contradict yourself.

I can definitely say, nobody will give two shits if you come back or not.

Lots of people gave you advice, they told you to stay away from that truck, but youre too ignorant to listen. Thats when people gave up on you, thats why nobody wants to bother helping you now, BECAUSE YOU DON'T LISTEN AND YOU THINK YOU KNOW EVERYTHING!

bye bye now.

"Im not searching.... I was trying to find" Huh?

No one on here has to look at the truck to know that it isnt worth more than $7500 based on current market values and other trucks that compare to it. What happens if someone does go and looks at it and finds things wrong? I can bet you know that any knowledgable owner will find more things wrong.......you still gonna pay the ridiculous price to the owner at that point?

You are overpaying. It's really that simple. The problem stems from you being 18 and stupid with money management. Read through this thread. Everyone is telling you that the deal you are making is a wrong one....you arent listening. You act like we have no idea and you are the first person we've seen about to get screwed on here. Guess what....youre not the first, and certainly wont be the last.

Congratulations, you've lasted much longer on here than I would have expected with this crowd at this point.
