Have a local guy from here check it out with you.Plenty of guys around Denver.
Now that you know what he has in it (+ maybe a grand for shipping and $100 in Armor All)
you can probably work out a significant discount in the price.

So you are willing to overpay by 6k........dude........really? Hopefully nothing breaks on that thing. You will still owe 12k on a busted truck making 400+ a month payments. Sounds like a Ty might not be the right vehicle for you.

Read a bunch of other stuff on this site first and then buy a better Typhoon in six months for the same amount of money or less.

I can afford the truck, just don't have all the cash available right now being that I just bought my dad a truck. If somebody else is willing to make payments, my agreement right now is $455/month with $1500 down. Also, he is letting me take the title.

There have been at least 3 other Typhoons I've seen sold on this site recently that were not only cheaper, but far far nicer and wouldn't need nearly the attention that thing will after this guy is down clowning around with it before he sells it to you.
These things break - a lot - if they're not taken care of. The payment on it will pale in comparison to the agony and the constant money you'll need to put into it to keep it running.
Get somebody from the forum who's knowledgeable to go with you and look at it. If it ain't god damn perfect for that price, walk away.

Go to a Credit Union and get a used car loan on it. If you have $1500 down and can get a personal loan for $6k, that's a $7500 truck. And a nice Ty can be found for around that. At least, nicer than this. Unless you like that paint, because as mentioned on here, it's not vinyl graphics.
And $455/mon w/ $1500 down for how long? Is this an individual? A dealer?
