one more thought is that the jet chip you had re-burned may have a junk esc module in the memcal ?

could have a sticking e.g.r. valve ?

you mention the i.a.t.s never exceeding 120 * but never mention if the after cooler system has been upgraded and pump is hot wired to run constantly .

Have no way of knowing without a known good chip. Ill start shopping around for a chip, but I'm sure the market for them is scarce.

Haven't really looked into a faulty egr, just cleaned passages.

Intercooler is all stock, turned on in the chip. Appears to function well. IATs hover between 90-110 most of the time. Might hit 120 after hard driving with lots of boost.

I'm really frustrated with datamaster. I've tried 2 different laptops. Don't know if it's the truck or the cable.
I sprayed the wastegate arm with penetrating lubricant and let it soak in. Seemed to loosen it up.
Took the truck out tonight without the computer
Boost stays at 14 pounds now according to the old gauge I installed.
Truck feels strong and pulls hard, no bogging. Set Fuel pressure back down to 45 psi.
Truck still pulls hard. No bogging in 3rd gear.

I would really like to see what my kr is like now after swapping the ECM box.

Haven't tried to adjust the idle yet. It went crazy after starting the truck, shot up to 2500 rpm and wouldn't come back down until I reset the IAC via aldl with paperclip. I don't know what that's all about. After reset still 1000 rpm in park, 800 in gear.

My DM quit a couple years ago and it was the cable. There are settings for communication rate in DM. I stuck up a link to the copy of the help file I have. Playing with the com rate can sometimes help. Experiment.

well i hate to say it but the stock after cooler set up is junk , the very next upgrade should be a high flow coolant pump " i.e. johnson , shurflow , cheap harbor freight pump and some 3/4 heater hose to relocate the
inerter cooler lines as have been done by hundred of other owners . see stytarchivers.net for instructions on
the proper upgrades . A stock after cooler system is junk and hinders performance and causes knock !

High idle like you have could easily be caused by a vac leak. I had a blown intake gasket on the lower, valley, side. Top side everything looked normal. I had suspicions but only by removing the intake was I able to verify.
