im just wondering who the insider is?
and we definately have a challenge, or 3!!!
i hope all the fast trucks get to come to KC, not just robert and us. it would really give people somethin the write about on this site and definately have people coming back next year and the next. and thats what its all about!!!

well since i nver really voted i'm gonna vote for phil.
why? because when phil needed a cam spec i coulndt help him and i still feel bad about it.
the other reason is because my block is twisted pretty bad and i am not going to redeck it. we do have an intermediate fix of sorts that should be good enough for me to finish my license runs.
doing this kinda thing with a stock block is now showing why you shouldnt try with a stock block.
once i get my nhra license then i can start talkin shit as we get workin on a bowtie build.
so for now i'm gettin behind phil.
what i would like to know is if any of the guys in the 9's plan on getting a license to run 9's and all the proper safety stuff?
or do they all run at tracks that look the other way?

Robert himself predicts 9,4X - 9,6x times
Ed Hess says "Its for fun"??

ok time for some shittalkin.
1st off we arent goin back to the track with a stock block.
old motor is out, disassembled and its done.
new BT block is started as of last nite. with higher cr, another custom cam. this cam is gonna give a bit more.
now just to give you other guys a head start off the tree, since were gonna wup someass, we're gonna start off using my vortec "non magic dust heads" and we arent going to put a sheet metal intake on it right away with brodix heads (were gonna do that later in the year). I realize you guys got big flow numbers and all that bs. but i figure since were gonna make more power than all of ya a head start on the tree will keep yall from gettin your feelings hurt.
the other reason were gonna give ya a head start on the tree is because we noticed you guys are gonna be usin some big turbos.... well i looked at the user instructions on
those big turbos and i notice were it said "to spool this turbo on a 4.3v6 allow extra time to spool if your tuner isnt as good as the competition."
so unless you guys have enlisted harry anderson to help you out.... as i see it your all screwed, and you bought turbos that take longer to spool than a toilet does to flush.
so does anyone know were we can get some online betting done for the final et numbers outcome of this thread?
I figure between sellin off my old parts from the old motor, and the money i'll make on the Et betting, i should end up collecting more than i will spend to build a new bottom end.
with all that extra cash i think in a few months i can get a deal on a couple huge 2nd hand turbos no one could figure out how to tune.
