OK Gals and Pals :D

We have som serius FAST Syclones on this site...

Robert Pothorcki did a 9,78@142,30 in -04 Sweden

Mike B "badnewz" did a 9,79@143.74 in -04 USA

Matt Hoover did a 9,89@137,00 in -04 USA

Ed Hess did a 9,93@134,83 in -04 USA

These should be the top 4 ?? maybe I missed some ? Fil me in on that...

So who´s Syclone is going to be the fastest in -05??

The first to breake in to 9,6x sec or even a 9,5x sec :D

Robert in Sweden is a lithle delayed because the first official race in Sweden is in June?.. so your season in US is well on the road when he starts to race..

Never the less....

Starting a guess time/who thread... could bee fun if the top 4 would do a guess too :D

I don't have any favorites, it seems like everyone is making changes to push the envelope further. Robert and the Hoover have been among the top for so long, Badnewz combo's was just a tick slower than Robert's and seems like it may have had more. Ed made so much progress in just 2 years.

If I was a betting man, I would probably put my money Ed Hess, just for the reason he does some much testing and progress at the track. When he does breaks something, it seems like he back up in no time short.

Ok we have a couple of contenders :D some barely down to nine and som running nine all day long LOL..

Id say they all got the power to go 9,6x or so BUT......
a big but.. they have to get it down to the ground.....

Robert is the one doing mostly 9 passes, I know he have some development in the chassie thats helping him..
now the new turbo and the new tires is a combo to go around the fact that AWD have so hard to preheet the slicks...

And the fact to when already down in 9,78 times .. to clip 2 tens in et is NOT that easy as just more power...

It can be easy to shorten your times by ½ asecon when in the 15-12 sec range but every secon down from here is a strugle and down to 10-9 sec level every 1/100 is a challenge and a 1/10 is a miracle :D

so I guess its going to WERRY hard to pas 9,60...

lets face it.. when U got the power, the traction is blown away..
for crying out loud... its a brickwall your pushing down the trac....

never the less... GOOD HUNTING SEASON... LOL.

I say Ed isnt going to get 1st, but i like the fact that he is going that fast, it just seems like a little while ago he had that srange Sunblocker pro mod syclone.


I want to see the Ghetto sled run, but I still give the nod to the Hoovers, like jimmy said if they could get it to hook for the first 300".

didn't ed run 9's on a stock block? has anybody else done that? my vote is for ed's truck, but they all have my props for pushing the AWD v6 envelope....:tup:

no matter what they say ed, they can't say you're a quitter...:cool:
