Just got back home, it's 4 am. I really enjoyed meeting you all today, some nice trucks out there still, and Paul thank you for the boost launch ride. I was really dissapointed in the track officials not letting anyone besides Roland run, i hope you get your sy issue figured out.
It was still worth the trip meeting some owners though. i hope we can meet up again sometime and maybe even get some runs in. hopefully next time elliots ty and my sy will be able to make the meet as well.
keep on sytyin guys, these trucks are the shit.

Turbo Thunder wasn't so glorius for we SyTy folks this year..... understatement eh? Sorry I didn't get to chat much with everyone, even left early myself after such a pitifull run. I was hot, sweaty, embarrassed, and highly frustrated along with truck not running well.
KIM: As always, MUCHO THANKS for always looking out for me! You are very nice to have around.
Played with the truck some today...... found a few things wrong. Coil wire at the coil was not snapped down, and logged a couple street runs. Fueling is way off......... like 13- 15% under boost with BOTH fuel systems. This confuses me as how can my program change soooooo drastically, and do so on two different fuel pumps/systems? OR, what do they have in common limiting fuel flow? Oh well, eventually I will fiqure it out. Guess that's what happens when you seldom drive it, and race it once a year. (I haven't changed plugs since 2005)
So much for selling the damn thing.... if I was smart, I'd just give it away and be done with it! I am tired of working on it, that's for sure. Starting to look like I'm never gonna be able to afford a used roadster of some sort.

Hey Elliot, S-Blazin, Maiti, Pleasure meeting you guys at TT. Seeing all the peeps was motivating enough to get the truck back on the road (it's coming together-slowly do to lack of time).
Elliot, got your message-Thanks for the handout Bro-I got the intake off...
Roland. Atleast you didn't hurt the motor, Spoke to Dennis also, can't beleive all his BA Buicks caught fire...
I should be ready for the Summer BBQ Shindig in August.

The night wasn't a total bust, although it was frustrating watching tech fail the only two Ty's that were trying to race. BS. On the other hand, that twin-turbo Camaro hustling down the quarter was pretty impressive. Swear it carried the front wheel the whole distance. Nice to finally meet some of the guys from Oregon, must've been a long drive home that night.

Now I know why you were hanging back on the way down there. :lol:

If/when I decide to give it away, I'll keep you in mind Steve roseydog..... gonna have to start using 2nd names with all the Steves =)
Found a very important item today.............. the commonality of the fueling problem. It appears that the wideband 02 has gone crazy (not died-just gone looney tunes). Yippee, I get to spend some money on the truck! That would explain why truck smelled soooo funny, cuz it was way lean. Probably a good thing I had the alky on during the 14 start/stop 1/4 mile pass.
