This years Turbo Thunder will be held on Saturday July 11th at Pacific Raceway in Kent WA.
Gates open 4pm.

Hope to see some SyTy racers out there along with those that just come out to say hi.

Will add post to NWSTP site when it comes back on line.

I'll be there, I hope. Never had the truck on the track, and I've owned it just about a year now. I'll see if I can get anyone else motivated.:tup:

Keep in mind that gates open at 4pm......... perhaps you could arrange to get off early?????

Well, I'll be in Canada that weekend. Eh?

Why do the gates open at 4pm? Probably autocross going on in the morning and afternoon like usual on Saturdays. Last run is usually at 9pm at Pacific....so it's only 5 hours long? :dunno:

There IS something going on during the day, forget what.....

However, the evening drags have a limited schedule. No motorcycles, no jr dragsters, no golf carts or car club drags. There should be an opportunity for a lot of runs for those interested.

Some folks (Gene-Dennis- probably some of the Canadians) will be there friday nite for test and tune, then Saturday nite for Turbo Thunder.

Canada eh? You have managed to squeak out of another one Kurt =)

Ok, so what about the other Seattle/Tacoma area owners? Vancouver/Portland area? How many trucks can we get together?

hmm, would like to go as well. i'll see if i can get the syclone together and running by then, if nothing else maybe i can drive the GT clone. ah crap the trans is almost shot. well maybe i'll just drive my mute car up.

I'd love to be there. That is if I can get the Ty running correctly in time.

July 11 gives me plenty of time though.

Well its getting closer. I am excited and am driving up with my lady, her cousin, his lady and probably Ian (s-blazin) I hope to meet tons of sytyers there. :syty::woot:

I'm bummed! I gotta work that day:( I am looking foward to taking my ty to the track as I finally got the reliability mods, 3 bar map, PLX wide band on. Just wanna see what she will do:D

I'll be there... thinking about brining the RV down so we have a place to hang out and stuff......

RV sounds great, Paul. If my wife goes, she'll need somewhere to crash and stay out of the heat if there is any this weekend.

Kim here (Paul's wife) - Yes we will have the RV with us. We will be there at exactly 4pm to set up. I dont want to see Roland red like a lobster again this year like every other year - love ya Roland :)
