Re: Trophy & Award Results!

Was there a "King Of Nats" Elimination like we had in 2009?

Yes. Same format. Fastest truck overall won. Which was John Frey (BULLY Syclone). It was going to take a special truck to beat his 9.47.

In 09 we had eliminations between all the class winners bracket-style to crown king, not just the fastest truck.

Re: Trophy & Award Results!

not quite the same format...we bracket raced in BG to distinguish da king. BG track was a little more open to playing than Bandi.

Re: Trophy & Award Results!

Yea not to take anything from John believe me but definitely a lot different when your hot laping 3 or 4 rounds of eliminations, having to beat the elements (heat/elevation) and the guy in the other lane.

BG also had enough people racing to make bracket racing worth while.

Sweet so you got to make multiple runs? Are there any videos up yet? Im glad you got it running good, get it down off the mountain so we can get some 8 second trucks on our side of the pond

Re: Trophy & Award Results!

I saw John run at least 3 hot lapped runs in a row. I couldn't believe he was beating on it so brutally. I'd love to see that thing make a pass at 0' elevation.

Thanks again for the ride, that was pure awesomeness. I haven't randomly laughed like that ever. :rotf:

Re: Trophy & Award Results!

Dyno session was to tune for drive ability as there was some popping due to a rich condition in the tune that needed tuned out and trying to tune on the street is ridiculously too dangerous. John wanted to make sure his truck made it too nats in one piece so no high horsepower runs were made on the dyno.

I do recall a 700HP to the wheels on the screen at one point in the session at a 1.15 correction factor so 608HP uncorrected. This was all done on a Dyno Dynamics AWD load-bearing dyno if anyone cares about that.

Cool. No doubt it has much more than that, it sounds nice and crisp in the videos.

Re: Trophy & Award Results!

Sorry this is a little off topic, but where can I find the rules or guidlines for what defines Super Stock, Pro Stock, and Outlaw SyTy categories? (Pure stock and stock turbo are kinda self explanatory) I am almost done with my truck and would like to know where it fits in.
