 Don't confuse friendly rivarly with hate.

It is all friendly from this end.

somehow i think when i start doing my thing around here many dont realize that although it sounds serious... and all that but when you get right down to it nobody really cares, just that some people can get fired up and some people know how to get those people fired up.

if i could, i would be at the nats but i cant and thats that.

tom has a business to run also so hence his reason for the post.

Scott....
After 5 or 6 national attends... missing the nats would be the worst thing one could do! This forum can easily be taken out of context.... I look forward to meeting new people every year.
See you there!

P.S. Ed... get well and there is always next year.

Yeah, don't count on the keyboard commandos being there or if they are it most certainly will be easier to identify the smile on their face while they are giving you shit instead of a misconstrued comment typed on a message board.

The only conflict I have seen in the 7 consecutive events I have been to was an outside guest started a wrestling match with some of our SyTy drunkards crew and he got the smack laid down on him HARD. When he couldn't take the heat and started getting serious he was immediately removed from the premises.

We don't F around, it is all in good fun.

I don't count the drunk Texan slinging a liter of crown and yelling military jargon at every passer by as a conflict.
That was f'n hilarious (Even if Tooky and his girl caught the brunt of the tail end of the outbursts)

Count on a group of folks dedicated to the Syty cause all sitting around BSing for 3 days about their trucks whats done to them and trials and tribulations along the way.

Funny how the Swedes pack their bags, ship their vehicle, and come to the US for the syty nats. and the reply is "meet me at Atco."

That was quite amusing though. One of the more memorable Nats moments.

Gotta ride with this thought process. Better yet, why doesnt our New Jersey friend put his Ty on a ship and go to Robert's home track and render the original "challenge?"
I have to hand it to Robert, putting all the excuses to shame and just getting his truck to the nats. It's sorta funny peeps would hide behind lesser efforts while talking smack.

 to our Swedish SyTy friends. I hope you guys get the times you were looking for here so there will be no doubt. You guys didn't need to prove anything IMO but thanks for coming out so we can see your awesome truck battle with the other guys with fast trucks.

As said in other treads. We are there for a good time, meet and have a ball.

And as Robert also points out, He is there to make a dream come thrue bee at the nats, meet all of U thats there and hope to meet Hoover´s and other fast guy´s, not for the challenge, but to talk about "how did U solve this problems/solutions/preps/, why go that way? and so on" and of course do some fast runs too..

Think about it, Robert is in sweden, have had no one to realy talk to about Syclones, AWD, V6 Turbo´s and trans, chassi reactions in an AWD is QUITE a difference to RWD or FWD.. all other fast guys is in the states.. this made him go his way and .... now maybee time to see the different ways of solving a mutual problem. :D

So we all gona have a blast on the nats either way.. see ya

Re: Tom Ferrick's challenge to the swedes

wow....

a RWD Typhoon vs. a Badass AWD Syclone....

Where's the challenge? :dunno:

Syclone wins reguardless based on the fact he is still running AWD like SyTys were truely meant to be. :2cents:

I am 99.995% sure that Hoover's old truck won't be at Nats.

I'm also 99.995% sure that their truck has disappeared off the face of the Earth, and we will NEVER see it again.
