So Tom Ferrick has finally gotten around to taking his typoon out of mothballs to kick some swedishass.

Not sure but i would swear he said something like:

"if those european gringos want to stop by atco on their way home from playing with themselves in kansas city he would run them at atco for Something like (and dont quote me on this) 10 grand $US. dollars. "


tom hasnt been doing much with the typhoon lately as he has been busy with his low 7 second quick8 s-10.

Anyway if anybody from sweden wants to put their money where tom reaches into his pocket for his. All you gotta do is show up at atco raceway in atco Nj.

As far as not having an Nhra license or Nhra certified cage.... tom says if you can find a away to run in KC then he will see what he can do to get tech at atco to look the other way,

fwiw I still dont understand how you guys expect to run a truck with out the proper equipment in kc and not get told to slow down after the 1st pass.

so there it is a challenge for the swedes from tom ferrick himself.

Put up or shut up.The Nats aren't in America's armpit(any hell hole concrete jungle in the NE),they are in KC.Middle of America,where the ppl aren't all asshats and the BBQ rules.If I lived in Jersey I'd puke EVERYDAY about the stupid ****in POS assholes that live there.

I know Tom has been around for awhile, but he sounds like an ass for sending a message like that. I can say that I'm sitting here in TX and I run 7s in the 1/4, drive down here and run me. They are coming from Sweeden, and he can't make the drive from PA. Weakest of the weak sauce. Way to sound really big in a community of a few hundred people. We are all in awe of your greatness. Maybe my truck would be faster if I just was in the presence of this typhoon that is capable of infinite ass-kicking.

Since I dont personally know Tom ...I have to say the following:

I have seen the truck's picures..it is impressive. I have heard a afew things from a few people about the truck. It sounds incredible. There is another truck in California that is supposed to put down 1200+HP, but no slips. That's OK....NP!

Ed...you and Tom have fast trucks - no doubt. The Swedes are spending big $$$ to get their truck out there, and Bully Syclone will also (from what I am told) be there. What about John Gerber )WINDEDV6) and BADNEWS? This is a great deal to the small community. I know you (Ed) are injured - that's OK. I am not about to ask you to have Harry drive your truck.....that's just not cool. If Tom wants to throw down the gauntlet, then have him do it at Nats. If not, then let's just play this scenario:

XXX runs an 8.87@154MPH at Nats. WOOHOO! Now, Ed/Tom calls them out..."your shit is weaksauce!" Then, from the other side of the country..."I gots more whoop-ass that you have"...you know...the same shit! If these trucks meet on the same playing grounds, then it will all be relative....if XXX truck runs faster at KC, then if all things are equal, that truck should be faster anywhere else in the world IF THEY ALL RUN AT THE SAME TRACK AT THE SAME TIME.

I want to take my hat off to ALL you competitors that are running extremely impressive times...and if you are sandbagging for the streets, that's cool too! I just want all of us to have a good time!

tom is a straight up guy. I seriously doubt he would make such remarks and talk down to Robert and his crew. He's been on the forum for quite some time and knows the trucks well (never once sounding arrogant or cocky) The story has obviously been twisted from point A to point B.

Regardless who has the faster truck, let's face it Roberts sy is fast. It's no easy accomplishment to go 10's, yet alone 9's or 8s.. The fact that he is willing to ship half way accross the world when most of us complain about a 5 hr drive says alot. He's not looking to make money, he wants to prove his times are real, and prove he has the fastest truck...

The way it sounds to me is Ed is backing down to race Robert heads up at the Nats, and now wants to set up a race with someone elses' truck at their home track b/c his sy isnt fast enough. Sounds like typical street racing smack talk.. If you want the title "worlds fastest syty" show up at the Nats and make it happen, or just sit at home and make excuses.

Robert had a tough enough time paying to get his truck here, do you think he has an extra $10k to gamble with? I call BS on this one.
