Re: Teal Typhoon 1702
So how does a truck that's in this good of a condition just get put away like that? Can you elaborate any more on the history? It sounded like it didn't run but obviously that isn't the case here.
I am also guessing the patches on it that have worn through ate due to flapping tarpaulin or something?
You never know when diamonds like these will show up. What an amazing find.

when I arrived back with the cash from bank, that was first question I asked her was how did you of all people let alone a woman, end up with a typhoon AND a syclone..
she said her son back in highschool seen it for sale in the area and just had to have it, they agreed to work on it and be a mother/son project.. we from what she was saying he quickly lost interest in it being a teenager and rather party and hang with girls. so it sat shortly after, she did say she started it a few times and did store it at another location for a good while "which is the few times I stopped by and didn't see it out there anymore". She brought it back home this summer hoping to sell it, said she had a few people stop by but no one wanted to buy, they just wanted to look..
As for the syclone, shorty after the typhoon got put away, her husband came home one day and said he bought a truck.. She walked outside and seen it was a black syclone, she did not have any idea at the time what it was even though she owned a typhoon.. A little back story on that, she actually worked with the guy that owned it and he sold it to her husband but was not aware them two knew eachother. So there she was with 2 trucks.. But after the husband lost interest the daughter drove the sy for a while. It had a waterpump leak, so she took it to a shop down the street "Milton is a very very small town".. week later she gets it back and its pouring white smoke out the exhaust, long story short they beat the shit out of the truck and blew the motor. She spent 6800$ on a new motor at 40k miles and she said she has recipts also of that.. Im not sure the issue on the repaint of the sy though. But after that her daughter was then in college and there they sat with being moved for a while to storage, till I stopped by and heard the story..
I have actually been in touch with her since ive brought the typhoon home. She is very sad she sold it, but at same time I been sending her pictures of progress and is very happy that it went to a good home where its getting fixed up and cleaned up.
sorry for the novel, just ive never ever owned a vehical with a story like this, and I know one day ill look back and be able to read this and still pop a smile
