fyi, a "donk" is basically a car that has been modified or lifted in order to fit a large wheel.
The project typhoon is on 22" rims with air ride suspension. Cladding is being painted red this week.

it came with the hideous cladding and 22" wheels. Couple more weeks and it will be looking normal again. Since taking posession, the only thing we have done is rebuild the motor and tune up the engine bay.
No clue who did the previous work. Probably several different shops, but all very well executed in the quality department.

That truck reminds me of a tennis shoe.
The multicolor being the sole part of things. I say paint some graphics on the hood that look like shoe laces. Nike swoosh on the side. Wheels will then fit right in.
You can start a new trend. I have been to cali several times it will catch on.
Viniyl stickers are cheap to have made, removable later. With the updated motor I am sure it just might be an interesting sleeper at the street races.

Looking good! But those wheels aren't no where BIG enough for my taste. The lug nuts should be *well* below the frame... If I was going to "DONK" a syty, I would want people to ask me "how is the weather up there?". Or wonder if I my nose bleeds from being up so high :lol:. Something along the lines of this would be pretty sweet but in polished aluminum of course :
The ability to work under the truck without having to jack it up would be a MAJOR plus in my book (that's why I like changing the oil in 4X4's). Easy maintenance and LOTS of recognition rolling down the street. WIN, WIN!
