so what did it 60ft at? Did he do better/worse in the 60ft than in Sweden? I can hardly wait to see this beast. Well worth the 15hrs of driving

I was there, don't remember the numbers but I want to say slower. Not 100% sure though.

I got ALOT of questions walking around last night. Especially after the first 4 runs where he didn't make a full pass. Alot of "That things fast, can it go 10's" as well as quite a few "what the hell is that", and my personal favorite "Did I really see that same truck drive in here tonight?"

Thats awsome!! I can't wait to see it in person. I'm really excited to attend my 1st NATS and, this is just one of the things I'm looking forward to.

Nitrous? I was unaware it was a dual power adder truck with a 90+mm turbo, that saddens me, still a badass truck but i don't know seems to have lost some of its swager to me.

Anyway, good luck at nats, kick some ass.

How much is he shooting it? What type of kit?

Judging by your sig line, I would've thought that N2O woulda been right up your alley???

Oh I am not knocking him one bit, to each their own, that truck is badass and I would not hesitate to own one like it.

I was just unaware it was a dual power adder car, what is the drivetrain loss % wise with teh 4l80 do you know? Or how much power he is putting to the wheels?

I got a buddy with a similiar turbo on a 306 and he is over a second quicker, so that probablly makes me bias, I guess with a turbo that big, those heads, AND on the gun i would have expected quicker.

Stock drivetrain loss is what? 23% how much power is he losing?

Does anyone know how much he is shooting it? Is it just to help spool? Does the spray stay on after the 60'?

Run #7 - no N2O and lifted on the top end - ran 9.11 @ 144 .

That's enough "swagger" for me. ;)

Ok so he went 9.11 on an SSO turbo and lifted on the big end, so safe to assume that was a 8 second pass right or damn close?

Truck seems to be running better here in the U.S. then if he can only run .13 slower (8.98 right?) without the second adder and lifting.

What was the weather like? Maybe he can get an 8 second pass on boost, that would be pretty badass.

If I remember correctly, and maybe Jeff can correct me if I'm wrong. The nitrous was put on before coming over to the states, just as added insurance that he WILL hit the 8s in the states. But the 8.98 that was ran in Sweden was without the nitrous.

Ahh ok, I gotcha now, thanks for clearing that up.

But still curious as to which type of kit he is running and when he actually plans on shooting it during the pass??

Maybe he needs a good deal on my pirhana nozzles I have for sale, I just happen to have 6 of them :)

8.98 was with nitrous.
I think he said it was 100 or 125 HP . Not sure though. The truck will run 8 without nitrous.

He was going to, and was ready but forgot at the line.

I have a video but need better place to host since it will be downloaded a bunch from today's dyno session. Not so good results though as the big fans they had were still not enough to keep things cool.

Ok, we just got back from the dyno. Since the local one lets the owner drive.

As I have noticed on Jeremy's truck I hate dyno's. They really do not simulate the road properly.

For Roberts truck even though the facility had a couple good fans, it wasn't enough. The motor instantly got hot, and a drop of something hit the header causing a quick flash, which you can see on the video.

This was the 1st run, low boost, not a full run, shut off early. After that we decided it was not worth risking anything more. The truck was built to race, not dyno.

This was a mustang dyno, which some may know is much lower HP than dynojets. Not that we really care.

So now you know you only need 743hp to run 8's. Anybody can "JUST DO IT!" (read swedish accent here)
