Re: Roberts and Testing

I have learned that is the trick. Speak swedish and you instantly drop 2 seconds from the ET.

Should be a video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4cN8YaBjr7I

Is from my old crap camera, good quality ones to come. Sorry for all you guys staying at home, this is only a preview and seeing it in person is 100X better.

Re: Roberts and Testing

Blame 50% of crappy video on camera, the other 50% on Joe Keller, as I just noticed it was on manual focus.

I promise we do have good quality, but you must be at nats to see it.

Did I mention we are bringing a big projector for night time videos?

Manual focus?! They still make those? Your camara sucks! The 9.11 run also sucked because there was a loud ass dragster doing a burnout right beside me. It was making my brain rattle. It was still fun.

Video is up on google video....I hear there are other hosting sites coming online shortly as well.

Joe should be beat for leaving that camera on manual focus. He brings discredit on all Aspen Blue Typhoon owners world wide and must be purged from our ranks...

See that is the problem, and the reason you have 2 kids now also. You need to be careful.

Re: Roberts and Testing

So, does "nutswinger" translate to swedish well? I am going to organize the US Branch of "Robert's nutswingers." Line up behind the tall bald guy...

<serious/on> Robert, please know we wish you well ! <serious/off>

Re: Roberts and Testing

Just got back a little while ago from BFE KY.

Fuel=$302
One vibrating/rattling U joint in the dually I ignored for 1100 miles=$35 (hopefully thats all it is  ).
Getting to meet Robert and his crew as well as watch him make a few passes=PRICELESS!

Im tired as hell but I have to say that Robert is a SUPER nice guy (funny as hell too) as well as the rest of his Swedish crew (I have trouble pronouncing their names so I wont attempt to try and spell them). I cant say enough about how genuinely happy they seem to be since they will be participating in the nats...even Mrs myclone took a liking to them and she's pretty damn hard to make a good impression on. They are stoked and are really looking forward to meeting all of you guys and gals.

Anyways, you guys show them a good time at the nats.

Jeff...why does that look like a 2WD dyno....are those numbers at the rear wheels or all 4?

We're leaving MI now...see you there!

Re: Roberts and Testing

Looks to me like the dyno numbers are rear-wheel only. That would put the truck under 700 ponies on all four corners. NICE!!!

Bite me.. 1100 miles earlier this week is enough for me. Plus I have to fix the tow vehicle once Im able to focus my vision correctly. Whatever is coming apart in the driveline caused the truck to vibrate for 2/3 of the trip and my vision has yet to stabilize from looking in the mirrors that were flopping all over due to that vibration.

Maybe next year :(
