Re: ripped off
I think its about time for me to chime in. I really can't stand flame posts, especially ones that escalate to unecessary levels, and could be handled in a much more professional manner.
Without getting too much into the frivolous detials, here's the facts:
Yes you paid on Oct1. Dameon told you that it would be shipped by oct 8th because that is what I told him. Between work and obilgations I figured that would give me plenty of time to package and ship your item. I got busy that week, and was going to pack and ship it out on Sat 10/6. Unforturantely my friend died early that morning, so that day was out, as were the next few due to wakes, funerals and helping the family. I saw this as a much higher priority than your intake, and other parts that were awaiting shipment. Thought I would have an opportunity to send it later that week, and that is what I told Dameon, and why he gave you the second date. That didn't happen, and it got pushed to monday morning 10/15. It went out, 2 day priority, to Mike/RPM's po box. Figured with their move and all, it would be the safest place to ship to. I spoke with Mike... he has not checked his PO Box all week, hence why there has been no confirmation that you lower intake is there. He assured me that he would check it this afternoon and confirm that your lower intake is there, and in all actuality has been there since wed. About the time that you started all of the bashing.
I can understand and assimilate to your frustration with being given a few different dates. But the overall impact, given all of the factors, is nothing really. Even if the item was shipped on the 8th as we originally were planning on, it would have went out via ground, because that is what was paid for, and that would have taken 6-8 days and would have been in the exact same time frame. If for some reason it isn't there, and was confirmed, we would have stood behind our word, and sent out another one. Our reputation on this site and with many of the members which we have forged friedships is far more valuable to us than the price of an intake.
I hope this helps clarify this situation, and that we can move on to more important things.
