i have polished my Rims, and i think that for 50 bucks a Rim, you can't get it done cheaper, if you have to buy your stuff, and calculate your own labor (a syty'er doesn't do that i nkow).

i have a bunch of small light scratches on my rear wheels. i dont know where they came from, but its only on the wheels not on the center cap. would the polishing fix that?

i got to say that 92 black typhoon is giving you folks one hell of a deal. I have polished many things for myself and I got to say it is not an easy task at all. Since he has equipment, it will make things go alot quicker. But for those of you that have the patience, you can polish anything like any professional.

Just to give you an idea of the amount of time i took on my bike all by myself with just a mouse sander, oven cleaner (yellow can of easy off, it eats away the anodize coating on aluminum) and some wizards metal polish(the best polish there is out there) and lots of sandpaper. The finish on my project amazed people. I had so many offers from shops to do there bikes, but the time and patience involved is too much.

here is my bike when a couple months after i bought it new (my wife gets pissed off all the time, because i can never leave something alone, i always have to mod it in some way )

and the project that took me a month to do

some close up pics of the polishing, people always thought that my parts were chromed, but nope it was good old fashioned polishing.. alot of people clear coat polished products, but i used a sealant on mine that you apply to the highly polished surface. in order to clear coat polished surfaces, you have to rough it up so the clear coat sticks, so that defeats the purpose of having a chrome like finish

On my latest project i did on my new bike, i stripped it down for a new paint job and everyone thought i was gonna polish this up, but i could not break down an polish the frame on this 28 thousand dollar bike and the bling factor would not have looked to well, but i did polish up my exhaust piping and that came out really well

but i did like the way my paintjob came out

I have been looking at some parts in the typhoon to polish up in the engine and i will be doing some of them, but if i was in the states, i would definitely send them to 92 black typhoon. His prices are too cheap for the labor involved


If anyone of you are interested in polishing things yourself, i did an excellent polishing write up on a motorcycle forum, that alot of people have used and have had excellent results with

Damn Don! Bling Bling.... what's the deal with the ducatti? What makes it 28 grand? Im just curious, i know of some rare ducati's, like Ben Bostrom's sig. ducatti that they only made 155? of.... what's urs? Me likey.

the ducati that i have is a 996SPS model ducati, , a better engine with some goodies on it that puts out 12 more horseporwer than your stock ducati, race computer, full ohlins suspension, a 50mm full exhaust (by the way has been upgraded, man exhausts are expensive for bikes :evil: )and lots of carbon goodies.. These bikes are sold for race use only in the US, but they are street legal overseas. If you bought one in the US offf the showroom floor, they only come with race fairing, no headlights, blinkers, but overseas they come off the showroom street ready and track ready..

This bike is sort of like your 998R and 999r model bikes that you do not see much around of

hey what's up? Are your wheel's polished already? If not then my process is going to make that wheel look "new" compared to the others wich you probably don't wan't buy yes i can get any scratches out.
