Get in touch with BadTy aka Roland from Zurich, he should know how to get in touch with

A sound TY with those basic mods should pull 330 to 350 DIN hp.
But don't forget that a completely stock TY in good condition was able to
delivered 300 DIN hp from stock. GM initially rated them quite low with 285 SAE hp.
If you delete the cat just always keep in mind that it could overboost later in his life.
Some trucks went fine for 2 years and more and then out of the blue
started to overboost. I would put your boost control mods on top of the priority
list for future mods anyway. Get an external waste gate and an MSBC-1 or APEXi
boost controller with way faster solenoids. Or replace your cat with a cheap american
high flow race cat for about 90 bucks, they do the job for a couple of years. If you
are more into long term investments look into german "100/200 Zellen Stahl-Sportkats".

your overboost solution is an external WG with a boost value or controller...the entire problem stems from the stock WG not being properly sized. Boost control in most trucks are bad as is, espically with the years on them now...removing the cat only makes them worse. Go with an external WG and boost valve and never have a problem again....you can try every selenoid and boost controller out there, it may help a bit, but it will never solve the problem of an improperly sized stock WG.

so am i right when i say that with a 12psi spring the turbo is limited to produce12psi ???
and im dumping 3 psi of boost :shocked!:
and where would be this spring mounted ??? do you mean the WG-actuator ???

ya, that is an option too. just not my preference...it can get sticky as well over the years, not opening and closing smoothly causing poor boost control.
I just prefer to get something that functions the way it should and not have to look back on the problem or worry another may come up.

Delayed reply. To add what Berzerk said, If your going to run no cat, "extend" the rod as far as possible and start testing from there. If your still having over boost problems then follow Big Jeff's advice and go external wastgate but you'll loose the boost setting capabilities that your chip came with..
