I look forward to meeting up with the newcomers... Hopefully dad will post up a link to the nearest hotel and what he can handle as far as accomidations.
I hope to have LS1 front brakes ready to go, maybe work on my alky kit as well (im picky but undecided about the tank and placement)
I'll bring datamaster and my autoprom, as much stuff as I can think of that will be usefull to others.
I'd like to go into town and do either have our own hangout or crash someone elses... Maybe keith or charles would know a good place to go for dinner and or a show.

Might as well start posting projects.
Ive got the following:
SYCLONE
1. Steering shaft replacement with Renz Shaft
2. Replace bump stops on A-arms
3. ABS Delete (if time permits)
4. Adjust Caltracs
TYPHOON
1. Tighten up exhaust, its rattling somewhere
2. Tighten and adjust tailgate and back window...it doesnt feel "shut"
3. Replace boost vac line from gauge - sprung a leak, caught on E-brake pedal and kinked it.
The steering shaft is a definate. Ive got an issue with the sy wildly going hard left when I step on it (picture andrew at the track during Nats), and I know my stocker is on its last leg.

looks like its a weekend of ls1 brakes.. I wonder if we can get christian to bring his portable band saw to make life easier.

Dad has a compressor, so no need to tug it around. I think hes got an angle grinder and cut off wheels as well as a recipricating saw.

Still waiting on parts to get here.
I plan on doing it sometime around the end of May, would like to do it before the get together if possible.
I have to borrow my roommates car when he goes out of town that week and i don't know when he's leaving.

I talked to Greg today and he said that James Rivard Pontiac dealer in Brandon might be open to us "hanging" out there for awhile. Hooters is real close and so are many other places of interest. Let me know what you guys think? It'll be something different to do.
