Alright, so talking with a few of the long haulers...... I think we really need to decide to either do a show or a wrench session.
Typically, the Memorial event has been about show and just getting together and telling stories. But I know there are a group of you who need to do some misc work on your trucks (me included) and the best time is when everyone is together.
So, here are the choices we have:
Rob & Monas House
State Park nearby to go hang out and BBQ (I think theres a pool there also) maybe do a small show and shine, pics, etc. 10 Minute drive from Rob and Monas.
Go back to the house, work on trucks, take pics, cook out more, hang out, etc. I saw the 97% finished garage this weekend.... it is sweet. (Did I mention the garge is A/Ced?!)
Theres a paintball place nearby that we can go to. We could do Syclone owners Vs. Typhoon owners. (If you own both, your on the team that needs the players). I'll get more info on pricing.
Mosi is roughly a 35 minute drive over to Tampa to go see Bodies exhibit if theres interest. I'll get prices.
If we want to cruise around and just find some hangouts, that shouldnt be to hard. As for streetracing, Tampa is the closest and sorry..... I will not race in Tampa. They crack down hard and usually are well preparred for any racing going on to hand out tickets and make arrests.
Im going to look into what hotels are nearby. The meets turn out better when we have some options to all stand around and hang out until 3am.

Meet up, show and shine. Eat at Race Rock and figure out what we want to do in the area.
Some options include:
Going to Orlando Speedworld to watch racing or participate.
Going to one of the local attractions nearby (Ripleys, old town maybe?, etc)
Just hang out at one of the local restaurants in the area (Bahama Breeze is the choice typically)
Late night go over to downtown orlando to The Corner, hang out with Fuel Slut and go streetracing for those who dont mind staying up late.
Is there a preference on what we want to do?

I wouldnt mind either option (rob's crib or racecock). It all sounds good to me. Im not too crazy about mosi though...i'll prolly pass on that. I just wanna see/hear some damn trucks. Warren, i'll tow yer junk with a rope tied to your core support and attach it to my honda.

1) The trailer request is serious. I need to get my truck from Orlando to just north of Naples. I am willing to pay.
2) The core support is held on with one, maybe two fender bolts. We'd have to attach the rope to the sway bar.
Last resort is going to be getting a UHaul when it's absolutely necessary to get it out of the garage.

Ok, since this has died off.... I guess FAST just isnt as interested anymore as was in the past. So much for hardcores. Oh well.
Im going to call it then. THE MEET WILL BE HELD AT ROB AND MONAS HOUSE.

Saturday - start working on trucks, BS, pictures, dinner, work on trucks, car shows, BS, etc
Sunday - BS, work on trucks
Monday - BS, and say goodbyes to those who stick around the whole weekend.
