OK, the truck is running frickin' awesome! I drove around for 30 minutes tonight with Datamaster hooked up using Ultimate settings T1-15 to T1-20. Bad news is the O2 Mv's are 850-925 at WOT so I think it's running a bit lean. KR is still spiking up to 10 at times but usually hovering between 5 to 8 degrees - this is with 91 octane and 5 gallons of Xylene. I added 8 oz. of Marvel's Mystery Oil to the tank when I mixed in the Xylene for good measure. So it looks like I still have a knock problem, and the alky doesn't seem to be helping a whole lot.
I put brand new UR6 plugs in today gapped at .030"...holy cow, the idle is smooth as glass, no shit. I had switched back to the stock AC plugs a few thousand miles ago since the original UR6's got fouled when I was messing with the 50# stuff. Bottom line: stock plugs = crappy idle; UR6 plugs = perfect idle. I've gone through three sets of stock and 2 sets of UR6 plugs over the past year so I'm 100% sure the NGK's work better, at least in my truck.
Why the O2 Mv's are so low seems strange to me. I actually bumped up my base fuel pressure to 50 psi tonight so I guess I need to go even higher? Will try this tomorrow and scan with Datamaster. At 0 boost/vacuum, the Autometer gauge shows 50 psi of fuel pressure and at 20 psi of boost I'm seeing 70 psi of fuel pressure so fuel delivery appears to be OK. I think I'm going to replace the O2 sensor for good measure.
Anyway, here's the GOOD news. Hooked up the G-Tech after messing with Datamaster and went out driving around for like 1.5 hours testing and looking for action. Results? 0-60 in 3.9 once, 4.0 twice, and 4.1 twice...woohoo! 8) My best time prior to this evening was 4.6 using the same G-Tech on the same flat stretch of road. So we're definitely getting faster here. I was locking the TC and launching at 10 psi squealing the tires every time. I'd bet my left nut this is a 12-second truck now.
Here's where it gets REALLY good. So I'm driving back and forth down Central expressway trying to catch red lights so I can do more G-Tech runs and I see two round headlights coming up on me really fast - was doing about 50 mph. So when the lights reach my rear bumper, I drop the hammer and take it up to about 85 mph - he sticks with me all the way. I wasn't surprised since our trucks really shine from a dead stop, not from roll-ons. Well, I slow down to let "it" pass me and Jesus H. Christ, it's a Porsche 911 Turbo (993)! Here's what it was:

So he takes the San Tomas offramp flying around the turn and I do my best to stick with him. He gets snagged up behind a turd and does a monster pass over the double yellow to try and lose me; I stick to him all the way. He stops at the stop sign to make a right onto San Tomas and I was all over him. I heard him rev it hard and then he spun all four tires - I did the same right behind him. Result? Dead heat all the way up to 85 mph and I actually started gaining on him at the very end before he shut it down...unbelievable. I locked up the front tires when I got next to him hoping he was going to line up with me at the next red light but he took a quick right. This stuffed shirt must have been flabbergasted that some black S15 just gave his $100K car a run

Too bad we didn't go from a dead stop so I could have locked the TC and done a 10 psi launch
So I'm smiling from ear-to-ear at this point contemplating what just happened and I decide to drive around some more hoping for some more action. Well, some guys in a new WRX tried me two lights in a row and I just annihilated them; the guy wouldn't even acknowledge me at the 3rd light, he he. Then a chump in a new GTI VR6 ran me two consecutive lights...total domination by the Sy again 8) All of these races, including the 911 Turbo, were using T1-20 and alky spray on.
Tomorrow I'll play with the fuel pressure some more to see if I can get the O2 Mv's up. Will post more after I've done some testing with Datamaster.
