Well i finally dyno'd my truck

Dyno was a Mustang Dyno

at 21lbs of boost all the rest is in my signiture

335hp

392ftlbs

And i have been told to add 25% for crank readings so if that is right it would be

418hp

490ftlbs

Thanks to Nolan Tuning the truck

Just to compare things i took it to the track last year same set up and ran

mustang dynos usually read a little low too.:tup: also at that trap speed you should be in the mid 11's?

congrats.

and i was just going to say that too. the MPH should be about 11.40ish. are you leaving hard? or maybe spinning a little?

Ya I will get them out sooner or later

And at the track I took off from basicly idle 1200 rpm I had my 18inch rims with bfg kdw street tires. So traction was a small problem

The truck is 2wd correct? Either way nice times and good dyno numbers.

I think a set of slicks or just drag radials would make a huge improvement, along with some traction bars and front end limiters.

Can you post up a graph? I would like to see the hp and tq cures. I dynoed mine last summer and mine was fallin off in the upper RPMs. Thanks.

This is on a AWD Dyno Dynamics. Reads a little harsher than the Mustang Dyno. I put down 250whp but look how it falls down in the upper RPMs. I think I had issues with valves or a major boost leak. Or a bad motor. Will have the same build as Silverblaz in about two months. Interesting numbers. I figured it would have made more with Nolan. Not saying those are bad numbers. I'm curious about the numbers as well. Seems like at 21 lbs it should have a lot more in it!

I made 290/360 at the rear wheels @ 8psi on a pretty small turbo.

The time seems pretty fast though :tup:

I don't know how often this dyno is calibrated and what not but all dynos read different.

Yes it has a custom cam

i reached the line with 21lbs. and got 11.95 @115mph. food for thought :2cents:

color me impressed!

Guys, remember that a dyno is just a tuning aid. Don't look too deep into your numbers, just use them for a before and after for tuning.

Just my $.02 :)

Mustangs dyno's are Accurate and probably in the top 3-4 in reliability and repeatability. According to Jeff Dobeck, the dynojet inventor, he based 20 hp off what he "thought" it should be and not off the 746 w=1 hp and hence the higher numbers with Dynojet.

If you can read a dynochart real well, you can see how most magazines "tweak" other conditions to get great numbers.

I agree it's a tuning AID not the definitive source.

I have to copy them and get them on here I'll try tonight i am waiting for the guy to send me the full rpm range in a excel style format but still waiting on that . I'll get the graph on tonight though
