lesson learned , dont leave out gps stuck to windshield in the 305 . your window may get busted , dash get scratched , door panel also get ripped by glass and then drive home with no window , if your lucky ...:rant::tdown:
could have been worse . the 2 12's in the back arent bolted down and the laptop was under a jacket sitting out on the back seat . :roll:

he didnt even steal the power cord to make in work . whats he gonna get maybe $20 bucks at a pawn shop for at least a 1k insurance claim .

luckily , policy is a $ 0 deductable:tup:

Thanks again gary for having everyone over and the shop looks awesome, now i'm itching to get a lift... Also thanks for everyone that stopped and waited with me for some petrol to arrive. Special thanks to rob and Mona for stopping and picking up the gas and cans to get me moving again.. It might be about time for me to remember how to tune and burn a MPG chip for long treks across the alley.

Sorry man first your GMC blows an axle then your Chevy gets robbed! Me thinks a couple of idiot cops/employees don't know a gps needs a cord. Do you think it could have been an inside job? Maybe you startled them and they couldn't finish the job? Were there alot of other people/customers there or just you guys? You should call this junkyard tomorrow, acting dumb and like they are your friends, and say your insurance company is going to do an investigation on all employees, security officials and yourself. I hate thiefs :rant:.

I will be at the next FAST meet! Well this weekend was not a total blow for me i did get to work on the sy all day today and got a few things fixed.

Thanks everyone. The trucks are tucked in and the house is put back together.

I thought the cops were ok once they understood what happened. You can see the camera monitors and Mandi's TBSS was parked so far away it looked like a dot. They said they checked the recording of the lot and couldn't make anything out. I believe it. It could have been much worse, all they got was the Nav, not all their stuff, the system or the laptop. The cop said to me that it happens all the time and that the kind of people who come to the junkyard are "that type". I've been going there at least a dozen times a year for ten years and have never heard of any problems.

By my count there were 13 trucks, 3 TR's, 2 TBSS', an '06 GTO and a bunch of support vehicles.

Lifts should now be mandatory at wrench sessions. Rob and I are in and now Keith and Dennis both have the bug bad. I will never do another Ty fuel pump or any tranny drop on my back, anywhere.


People can once again find my house just by driving down the street and looking for the burnout marks.

A TBSS with the Stabilitrak completely off is an impressive thing.

All black GN's next to all black Sy's and Ty's is sinister.

All the trucks were black, white or red. We need some more colorful trucks in Florida.

40 lbs of ribs, 10 each of chicken and sausage, 6 boxes of pasta in salad, chips, dip, beer, Grey Goose, Hennesey and Jack. There's a little left, but not much.

How do we improve this next time? 2 hours ago I was exhausted and now I'm ready to work toward the next one. Plan the same weekend next year, between the NFL Championships and the Superbowl.

Memorial Day? Jaci is already lining up the babysitter.

BTW Jaci and Dave Harris did all the food, with grilling help from Eric (nice Sy!). They get the kudos for the chow.
