I don't think they do as much as advertised.
Especially on a forced induction motor.

On the other hand, anything you can do to smooth out turbulence in the airstream can help.

You surely won't be seeing 15Hp at the rear wheels just by bolting one in.

Oh yeah, mine came with my truck too or I'd never own one.

Lots of things to waste money on before that.
My birthday in 2 weeks is one...

I have one from my Vette laying around, I doubt it would do much more 2 hp on a mild truck...

Look at this way , if you already have one use it, if you dont , well, I dont think you should spend the money unless you are one of those peeps that has to have every bolt on , tnen get it.

If you plan on buying a bigger throttle body, like a 58mm then you dont need one as well.

I've got one. May not help HP but should help throttle response. Not like it's a huge dollar part. For the price, why not. It can't hurt. No, you're not gonna see a 20 hp gain, but everything you smooth out helps. Even stuff you think makes no difference, it does help.

As far as birthdays, I got you all beat. My b-day is 4/20. No, I'm not kidding, it really is.

I saw that as well, and instantly thought of this thread.....Proven on camera...Airfoils add nothing

I put a ATI supercharger on a car last week and in the instructions it said,
"DO not install a tb airfoil or it will void the warranty" So I am inclined to
believe that it will free up some restriction. I don't know if a naturally
aspirated dyno test is a accurate comparison for this question. I have
one for the reason of I waste allot more money on other things, so if
it helps great, if not, I tried.

I've never smoked it once in my life, ever. Many people find that hard to believe, but it's true. I'll try lots of things, but that is one that I won't. I have nothing against poeple who do smoke it, I have some friends that do, but I just don't see the point. So I don't.
