So my trans was blown up so when I took it out I cut out the catalytic converter because it was rusty and had holes in it now I'm reading a few things and they say leave them in There's no point to put that POS back on it just has holes and rusty What should I do?

Since the trans is gonna be out and rebuilt should I consider getting a torque converter? On my Nash I put a 3000 stall for launches but that's alittle different lol Should I get one? Than how much of a stall? Or forget it and use the stock one?
