Re: stock exhaust size?? If memory serves me correctly both the Sy's and Ty's came with 2.5" DP to the cat, then 2.5" out of the cat to the muffler . Then the Ty's went with a 3" tailpipe and the Sy's went with dual 2.25" tailpipes.

Re: What is this relay (pics) Yep, and Yep. That looks like what was done. Yes, the purple wire to the solenoid is a problem on these trucks and looks like that relay is put in there for that. Won't be quite as good as a remote solenoid but will probably help out on the purple wire syndrome.
