ZR1 attempted kill!!

While on our way to a local car show.
I couldnt resist to run one of our forum members (Zr1-170) new 91 Zr1 on the higway. I got the jump from aprox 70 to 110. OUTSIDE TEMPS WERE 17 degrees!! FMIC loved it!! I shut down at 110 and he came by me like a ZR1 should! FAST!! He would of came past me even if I didnt shut it down!:roll: He dynoed 410+whp 4.10 gears extc. It was built by Vette Doctors. Beuatiful fast NA ZR1!!

Its just got the paint work of a grand sport. Its all Zr1 under the hood!! I believe the car was originally black.

Yep....yer right!! It is a zr1 that was redone to look like a grand sport.....he's over on zr1.net.

Nice run there! Did you all go from a stop? I bet it would have been much closer from a stop, you were playing his game there. What kind of numbers does your truck run at the track?

Mine made 386 HP on a Dynapack dyno & run low 12's.

7.9s in the 1/8th 86mph, never had it to 1/4 track.

I've got a buddy that's got one of the early ones with a stroker lt5 motor in it and a 75 shot here and there. I think its gone 10.8's.. Has the stock lt5 sitting in the corner of the garage on a stand to turn the car back to factory at any point. It sounds mean as shit.

They do sounds mean as hell. I had another one that went 10.9@132 on drag radials.
