WTB mandrel bent air intake?

Hi all:

I have the Kenne Bell Ram Air kit and would like a one piece, mandrel bent pipe to run from the turbo to the air filter getting rid og the orange hose and the rest of the hoses from the kit. I want a cleaner, more efficiant setup. I don't care if it is made from stainless or plastic, I just want it to work well and look better than what I have. Does anyone do mandrel bending? I can get put together a mock-up with push together plastics to go off of. Thanks.

I just took a 3" 90* with a 90* silicone elbow and used my old KB kit to put it down where the battery went.

you could do something similar and have the 2 bends be planar so your KB stays near its regular location.

Go to a diesel shop. They should have big enough pipe and a mandrel bender, too.

Ebay has all kinds of mandrel bent alum tubing kits, pretty cheap price.

I went to shucks and bought a intake tube for a 90's civic. I cut about 2" off the tube to make it fit.

Deano, I have a short piece of mandrel bend pipe that would prolly be perfect for you. I bought it a few years ago for when I was trying to lose the stock intake set up. I will post a pic of it when I get home tonight...

It is mild steel. I bought it from a shop that sold exhaust pipes for large trucks and buses. The dimensions are as follows: the wall thickness is approximately 1/16" thick. The expanded end has an O.D. of 3 1/8". The unexpanded end has an O.D. of 3" Kind of hard to see in the pic (dang parallax) but the bottom of the right "leg" is approximately 10" from the top of the left "leg". And the top of the left "leg" extends about 9 5/8" with respect to the edge of the right "leg". Let me know if you are still interested...

Just thought that I would add that I can run piping for you, also make the necassary parts if need be. I've probably put together 100 or so of these little monsters, lol....I also bend at request, lol...but not that kind of "bend", lol....And, as a special offer, I can have your piping POWDERCOATED !!!!!!!!
