Will newer hydroboost units work?

I'm looking to clean up my firewall when I have the motor out doing my swap. Does anyone know the disadvantage of using the later model Chevy hydroboost units?

I've found some for 90-95 Asto vans, but if the newer ones work, I'd like to use them, but if not, that's ok too.

Any ideas?

ok - now you got me worried. I got mine of a 1997 Chevy truck along with my 4L80E.

Have I been a dork?

Relax, I just put one in from a 94 and it does a great job. I am not sure what is so different about the newer ones. This was not an easy mod.

Honestly, I would assume you could get any unit to work. The prinicples are the same

cool - bought already - we shall see.

Here's one though - is there an alternate ABS unit we could use in our trucks? I like the idea of it....

No idea, I also ordered the ABS delete lines from Tucker Auto, so I'm planning on pulling it out.
