If your air-to-air or liquid cooled IC is set up correctly then you really can't cool the air any more than ambient temperature anyways. You would need some sort of condenser and evaporator system to cool the air below the outside temp. Having both IC's might create lag? Some people have no IC at all and just use methanol injection! Using a combination of IC and Meth seems to be the way to go. My .02 I think the temperature to HP ratio is a little off? I live in minnAsnowta and that would be like 600HP.

the temp=hp refers to the intake chamber temp. my buick always pulls harder in the winter. i read a post where the guys coolant ic was cool to the touch. that thing is sitting on the engine and still stays cool. if the air that feeds the ic is reduced further with a2a wont it make a denser charge.
also why dont people wrap the intake pipes with some sort of insulation. having an aluminum pipe exposed to engine heat seems counter productive.
hope to buy in the next year or so . wondering what type of modded makes the most sense.

Running two intercoolers is neither space effecient, nor cooling effecient. It's a ton more complexity for just a small gain. Pick one or the other, and run one. If you are drag racing most of the time, I'd stick with the W2A, If you do more daily driving/road racing go A2A.

Due to thermal dynamics and flow time, wrapping the IC pipes is not that big a deal. If you have doubt's, look it up / search. What you want is 0 pre-heated air from the engine bay to enter the intake stream.... not even a little.
