I know this was brought up about a year ago, but some Syclone have a different style of vin than most of us.

Yours is probably some thing like

1GDCT14ZxM8800112 (where x is the check digit)

The one on ebay is

1GDCT14ZXM8530112

At the time I think merk said he has seen few others like this and they were early or preproduction trucks.

That is syturbo's old truck. He was from Massachusetts. I don't know the guy, but he posted in a post of mine a while back. That VIN is like mine.

Yep, sounds like a pre-production Sy.....looks like my old one came a little bit before the few other non-standard VIN's mentioned.

I inspected the Sy after the auction. I don't know if the sale if going to go through or not. If it doesn't I have a datamaster file and other info if anyone thinks of buying it.
