I am having Mike Lee at RPM build me a monster motor 8) and his goal is to have my TY the fastest all wheel TY out there  . I have never seen a link noting this data. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I plan to have my TY at the NAT's next year :D .

Thanks,

Tom

Hey Tom, nice to see you decided to keep the NorCal Terror. Glad you got through the "blown motor blues" Are you keeping the NOS with this next motor?

I know of a twin turbo Ty in NY, but I don't know how fast it run though. suppose to be in the 10's. It is still AWD last time I saw it.

One of the nicest and one of the fastest are two completely different things. It should be faster then any posted times of an awd ty to date, but its gonna take a lot more to have the fastest with guys like Nicklas, etc out there with bigger motors making alot more power whos main goal is to have the quickest/fastest awd truck.

Tom on the other hand wants to be able to actually drive the truck around town, show it off with friends, have a huge sound system, complete in cars shows etc. Having gone way overboard with my truck, we are trying to accomplish an ideal build which someone can enjoy on a weekly basis. We can make as much power as you want, but with that comes sacrifices and more money. All we can do is try our best given the circumstances.

yeh i wanted to come to the nats, but 30+ hours each way plus a week away from the shop pays a huge toll, especially when your customers only care about their stuff getting done. Hopefully in years to come some more people will show up, b/c i think local gatherings are attracting more trucks these days.
