Which Truck is most impressive?

All three trucks are impressive, but which one is most impressive so far?

Hoover's truck is also damn impressive but since Roberts truck is similar(all out build) and faster I only put it the poll. No slight intended.

Also note that I said so far! I am confident that when the hoover's get done with what ever they got brewing down there, it will go to the top of the list as "most impressive".

You can't really compare them.but for the $$ invested it's gotta be Phil's, 11.1 on stock motor is crazy unheard of fast.

I bet if he dropped 50k in his Sy it would run low 9's

I think all three truck are impressive and deserve a vote congratulations. I voted for Phillip Long, my reason is that I though it would impossible to do that on a stock short block, stock heads or stock cam and he did it with all three and not that big of a turbo.

I couldn't agree with Jimmy more. Phil's truck is more than just a freak of automotive nature, it's a testament of relentless tuning and optimization of relatively few bolt ons. I still haven't wrapped my head around his truck. Stock engine'd and running high 10's (his 1/8th screams 10's even though theres no timeslip) is NUTZ!

WOW didnt think mine was that impressive. I am going to Rockingham dragway Friday night with the 35 shot of nitrous. If the track is decent and everything holds together it might be interesting. Anyone that wants to come help I will feed you beer 'til its gone I'll get there around 5pm. New motor will go in soon so we will see what this stocker will take. opcorn:

i would have to say they are all equally as impressive. However if i had to pick one, I would also say Phillip's truck just because i have no idea how he runs that fast on a stock motor :evil:

Ed's truck is awesome, but my vote goes to Mr. Long for the simple fact that he did this thru his own efforts, no hired professionals. Nothing wrong with getting help from the people that know, but it's just different. I know one thing for sure, I couldn't get either truck to do what their doing, so their all impressive to me.

i didnt even vote for myself. Imagine that!

I will let you all in on a little secret.

i did this all by reading everything i could find. asking a lot of questions, usually preceded by: "can i ask you a stupid question (simply cuz i just dont know)"
also I do something on this truck daily even if its only planning or researching.

the shocking part is prior to 3 years ago i never even changed my own spark plugs. Now i do all my own labor.

I am in awe at what can be accomplished with persistance.

And what i find impressive is what you can do with eduaction and persistance.

If you asked anyone in the top 10 list i think you would find that money is not at the top of the list of what it took for them to get to the numbers they all run.
And that is what is most impressive about all these trucks.
