Hi everyone.
I have a '92 Typhoon with around 150,000 miles that just had its tires replaced. Just yesterday I put the car in to get balanced and aligned. The guy could only get them balanced, but not aligned he said the following needed to be done first:
1. Replace both front upper and lower ball joints.
2. Front break rotors and pads
3. Rear wheel cylinders
4. Front shocks
It sounds like only number 1 is important for now, but I wanted a second opinion.
When I had another group give my car an inspection they said that the pads were around 75%, so it makes me think that this guy may be inventing things...
Also, as a side note, he gave me an estimate of 1500 for all of the work. Is this too much? Thanks!
