What turbo is this???

This came on my Ty when I bought it. It looks to be a stock turbo at first but it has a 3" vband flange at the DP. The WG actuator looks to be in a different location than stock too. Numbers on the front of the turbo show 79-04000 and 15235. The 79-04000 is the stock number but the blades are different compared to the other stock turbos.

Looks like a standard compressor housing.
The compressor wheel,is there two sets of blades ,tall & short? if so,it has a 20G compressor wheel.

stock chra and some funky turbine housing and homemade DP. might be a dsm housing.

Funky for sure! The wastegate almost hits the fenderwell. My DSM turbo looks nothing like this.

Yep, had one on my truck a few years ago that Waller built for me.

Will_in_China knew of a place to get the stock turbos redone like that. Looked stock on the outside, but not on the inside. Back when I first got my truck we were talking about it. But now, for the life of me, I can't remember the name of the shop that did it. :dunno:
