This one goes out to all the turbo tweaking gurus out there.
Ever since the GT35R GP from Eric i knew that i wanted a
Ball Bearing turbo like this when time would come.
Now i run accross a "hybrid" that sounds promissing and i
was wondering what the pros/cons would be compared
to a GT35.
The thing is called GT3040R and is described as followed:

Dual Ball Bearing "GT30/GT40R" Turbo assembly. T3 style inlet flange with 4 bolt T31
style exit. This turbo incorporates the same exact GT40 compressor wheel found in the
popular GT35/40R, but runs the smaller 60mm w/84 trim turbine wheel from the GT30R.
Appropriate for smaller engine where the GT35/40R feels too big, but the high amount of
compressor flow is needed for the desired HP and boost levels. Large T04S style
compressor housing with 4.00 inlet and 2.50" outlet. This turbo has a flow capacity of
about 600HP.
Turbine
-Wheel: 60mm w/ 84 trim
-Housing: .63 ar, .82 ar, 1.06 ar
Compressor
-Wheel: 82mm w/ 56 trim
-Housing: .70 ar

What can i expect from a smaler turbine wheel (60mm vs 66mm) on a built
engine with vortecs?
Even faster spoolup?
Top end suffering?
What stall speed would u guys recommend for this application? Stock? 2400? 2600?
I'm all about quick response. Need to get out of the rabbit hole when a WRX or Evo
shows up...
