You might want to turn down the volume on your pc before you watch the video. These horns are awesome, they are 12v 4 note cadillac horns from 70's cadillac. They are totally hidden inside the fenders and they are so loud my mom came running out of the house 100ft away.

Changed the oil and drove it for the first time since Aug '07

Does that count?

Tore down the front end. I have all NEW parts for EVERYTHING (almost all moog stuff) that I took off including a F41 steering box and jeep steering shaft. I am going to wire wheel and paint the accessible areas of the frame tomorrow with "rust bullet"

Damn, surprised they don't get on your ass for doing work like that out in the complex parking lot. That's a lot of progress! Wanna come put mine back together? :)

Do you know how to pull those axles? I cannot get them out!

I PB blasted the hell out of them for a couple days and had my little brother hold the brake pedal while i wrenched it off, but you have no brakes so im not much help

I mean get the axles out of the differential. I am replacing them. I took the 6 bolts off and neither side will budge.

got mine back from the tranny shop and made it about 50 yards and the right front cladding broke off. so far 17 miles and 2300 dollars. this thing makes the m3 we sold look cheap to maintain.

I *finally* finished the install of my Aeroforce Analogic Scan Gauge:

Gauge with senders for fuel pressure and transmission temperature.

This gauge has the ability to do many things:

  • Four 0-5v inputs channels
  • Two EGT inputs. +/- 2 deg F accuracy. Range is 0-1024 Deg C or 32-1843 deg F.
  • Can log displayed data and relay on gauge.
  • Has high intensity warning lights that can be set using a 1 or 2 parameter algorithm. P1, P1 or P2, P1 and P2. For example, trigger the lights when rpm exceeds 6000 rpm, or when trans temp exceeds 230 F and coolant exceeds 210 F, or when air fuel ratio is above 12.5 and throttle is above 75%.
  • Integrated output for 12v relay. Allows you to use our 12v relay kit to turn something on or off. For example, turn on an electric radiator fan when coolant exceeds 180 F, or shut off nitrous when A/F ratio exceeds 13.0. This takes over one of the 0-5v inputs if used.
  • Peak recall function. Allows you to view the highest value read for a displayed parameter.
It can also do wide band air/fuel ratio with the O2 sensor kit. However, I have an empty slot in my triple pillar pod now for my PLX DM-5 AFR to go in. May have to wire it up and see how well it works after I get another stainless steel bung welded onto my downpipe. Sure is nice being able to monitor my fuel pressure and confirm that it is increasing one psi with every pound of boost like it should :)...

Had to pull the dash cluster out again... Did the upgrade awhile back on the dash lights with LED bulbs, but the past few weeks a few of the bulbs were flickering or not working. Found out the contacts on the twist sockets I used were kinda loose, so intermittent contact explained the flickering lights. Tightened them all up and it's good to go now...
