More pictures of the cage would be nice.

Looks like an interesting truck with some history also.

Whats with the door panels? Looks like some indian blanket kinda thing going on there..

Definitely needs a little cosmetic's under the hood.

Yeah, the cage looks pretty well thought out, going through the dash like that. Did they go through the speaker's or right before them?

Working on it for ya, Jeff. You'll get to see it at Bowling Green or at a meet, I'm sure. I plan on driving this one....I have enough garage queens!!

It is a wierd material but it fits in nice with the overall interior. The engine bay will get a facelift soon so it is more presentable (along with a few other areas). I took some advice in late 2008 and had the air scoop powdercoated black on the proto Sy and it looks very appealing so if you guys have any suggestions regarding this Ty, post them up.

I considered selling the OZ racing wheels and putting on some MINT white ZR-1's but I think I am leaning toward just keeping this truck as is. The Lap 1 history is kinda unique to the community and it should remain as such. Maybe I could start a poll to get forum feedback.

Re: What a trip!!

Engine bay cleanup for sure, matching AN lines might go a long ways, a TB hat that doesn't look like it was made from the aluminum scrap metal bin, air/air done right might help drivability.

Mightymouse style AC delete.

Rear drivers side rim looks like it needs a spacer, repaint the cladding.

Drive and enjoy.

If you part this one out, the JSM crew will be diverting our Mafia force to tennessee.

I kindof like that console.

Shaun, first nice to see you back, make sure you take pictures of everything the way it is before you take anything off or change it, don't sell anything, put it away so at a later date if you want to sell or return it back the way it was you can.
Take care

Hi Ray and thanks for the advice. At this point, I am strongly leaning towards installing fog lamps, cleaning up the engine compartment, repairing and repainting the cladding, dressing up under the dash and having fun with this truck. I took it to the car wash today and again WOWED myself with the performance of this Ty. I certainly stumbled upon a diamond in the rough. Take care. Might be PM'ing you about a part or two if need be :).

Re: What a trip!!

 I have always loved this Ty. I vote for just cleaning it up and leaving it as is. What kind of steering wheel is that?
