Wastegate Question

to adjust for overboosting, which direction do i turn the waste gate rod, clock or counter clockwise? thanks.

The rod pushes the valve open to let off boost, pulls it shut with the spring.

so if you want to shut it more.. make the rod shorter.

longer wastegate rod = slower spool up, lower boost

shorter wastegate rod = faster spool up, tendency to overboost
