Want to buy Sy/Ty in midwest

Hey guys, I've been reading around on these boards for a while, but never signed up until now. I'm a new member and have recently fallen in love with syclones and typhoons. I'm a regular on the thirdgen.org boards and I currently own a 1985 IrocZ with 350 swapped and xfi268 cam and afr195 heads. I also self-taught myself GM OBD1 tuning and currently burn my own eeprom chips for the car! This is another reason I'm interested in the sytys.

Well, I live north of chicago, but am willing to look anywhere for a nice truck(prefer the midwest however). I'm not looking to spend a ton for a mint truck, I'm more looking for a near stock condition, good driving, reliable truck. Preferably one well kept with little to no rust. I plan to DD it, and keep it out of the snow, especially in chicago winters  . Please let me know what you have, if you're worried about your truck going to a good home and owner, I can assure I'll take care of it as I do with my camaro!:)

I'll consider anything!

Welcome from another Chicago area native:tup:

Good luck with your search. Whatever you do, don't settle. The search is half the fun!

BTW, nice IROC. I don't know which is more impressive. The fact that you have all the motor work done with the self edumacated tuning skills, or the fact that it's an 85 Chicago Camaro WITH NO RUST:roll:
