viscous coupler extinct part ?

was told this part no longer exists. can i get a picture of it. can a machine shop make one. im guessing the prop shaft breaks before the transfer case. whats the word on the street.

is there a list of extinct parts . can we put one together. just want to know what im getting into in the future.

Those are available. Shops like to say, if we ain't got it, it can't be got. Call "Whatever it takes" or "WIT". Do a google search.

Actually, last time I checked (about a 1.5 years ago), it's still available at the dealer for about $600.
