Hi all. I thought I would stop in and introduce myself. My name is Darren Bentz and I run a part time business called Victory Graphix. I specialize in etched glass items and have been a sponsor of the S-Series Nationals since 2004. For the Sy Ty Nationals I'll be donating items etched with the 06 Nats logos. I have two trophies from the past two years at S-Series nats, and can vouch for the superb quality of work that Darren creates.

We are glad to welcome Darren to the SyTy world.

He is about to pay off his 2nd gen so let's start working on him to buy a SyTy for a project.

Darren, once you come to the Nats and see all these trucks, hopefully get a ride in one or two and see them at the dyno and the track you should be hooked!

I look forward to meeting you at the event and possibly discussing some other SyTy etching products you could be offering.

After seeing his work on the door of the clone, Renz can probably do his own etching. :rotf:

Thanks for the welcome. If anyone wants a keychain or mug I can bring it to the show. T Jay is making a flyer for me to hand out at the show where I'll have information on ordering stuff. I will also be donating 15% of the sales of Sy Ty Nationals items back to the event. Everything I make can be customized so for example I could make a keychain with Typhoon on the first line and your screen name or vehicle number on the second line. If there is interist I can setup a pre-nats ordering page, lower prices because I won't have to ship. Thanks again, Darren.

Can you etch a MagLite?

Trust me, when everyone sees mine they are gonna want one!

Also, Ian had made some custom side mirror blanks at one time.
They said "OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE LOOSING"

Now that would be perfect if it were spelled correctly. :rotf: (sorry ian) :rotf:

I'd be in for a set L & R and or a rearview if possible.

I should be able to etch a MagLite on the smooth surfaces. Email or PM me your idea and i'll see if it can be done. DarrenBentz@VictoryGraphix.com

On the side mirrors I would etch them from the back, remove the silvering from the letters, then paint the exposed letters. I'll have a mirror with me at Nats so you can see how that process looks.

I have an etching project that I'd like to attempt. I'll have to speak with you at NATS about...and possibly leave the item-to-be-etched with you, if you have space for it. :tup:
