UK Meetup- Near Peterborough... Anyone interested?

I would like to have a GTG to kick off the start of my 2 year tour here...

I am getting a house with a 2 car garage, and room for about 5 cars, and more parking a ways away if you guys want me to host.

My Typhoon will be arriving by June 2nd, and I would love to meet some more SyTy people in the area. If you don't want to meet up at my place, I have no problem meeting elsewhere.

Lets get a list of anyone who is interested and I will keep it posted below. I am thinking around mid June. I have no issues if you guys want to meetup and do some wrenching either! I'm just unsure on when my tools will be arriving...

I thought you were way further North! OK, I have a wedding on 27/28 June and my 4th year med school exams are on 10/11 July.

I can make it if I can get a ride from a station nearby. I won't be able to bring a truck but I'm keen.

May I humbly suggest a BBQ at your place? I don't mind sleeping in the garden!

BBQ at my place sounds good to me! I have a 4 bedroom so there is plenty of room for anyone who needs to crash...

We can definitely plan around those dates, and I can pick you up from the Peterborough train station. Feel free to bring your girlfriend if she wants to come. I am down for whatever if you guys want to race, cruise, wrench, drink, or just shoot the shit. I'll add your names to the list.

Do either of you have contact info for anyone else who may be in the area and just not frequent the boards very often?

What works best for you guys? June 14th or 21st?

I can actually only make the 21st as the 14th is my pre-wedding briefing from the local priest. :tdown.

I asked Backzilla and there are another 1 or two near you that might be able to make it...

Gf will make a game time decision. Do you live on base or off? Have you got a UK number yet? If you need a hand setting anything up over here, let me know. Am sure you have it covered though!

I'll be living off base! I have plenty of parking... room for 5 in my driveway, and we could also park in the grass right next to my house for about 6 more spots... I have a UK number. PM me and I can give you any info you need.

Thanks for the invite, unfortunately we are up near Cumbria, and its not really feasible for us. Well that and the rest of the family committments as well! I hope it all goes well and more chip in, Lets hope the good old British weather has a smiles for you. There are a few who frequent on here, Mark knows more than I do.

Aaron, looks like I won't be able to make it next week, however there is a good show at North Weald airfield - the Damn Yankees Summer Slam - on July 20th. It's not a million miles from you if you fancy meeting there?
