sweet, good progress. keep it up

Thank you. I've got acouple more days of small things to get done before inspection and taking it to the streets end off the week.

Justin:

Yes there are clearance. I'm currently running 2,5" tubes. 3" is gone hit the hood.
For now a run stockturbo and I see no point or redo the IC tudes to 3" right now.
But with bigger turbo I'll redo them. The thing that holds back the 3" is that the bend at the plenum that goes into the TB is to short. If I get a new 180* bend with bigger radius I can get the crossing pipe alot more up, towards cockpit. Then a 3" would work without hitting the hood.

I would like to get a non A/C box but its hard to get those here in sweden.

Well I tried to reclock it but its stuck as hell. I didn't want to get on it with the sledge hammer since I thought it would pop off oncontrollable and damage the turbine.
So for now its gone have that nasty bend to the IC.
When new turbo goes in I'll make a better pipe from turbo to IC.

Re: Ty1001

nice progress,
as far as the stock turbo reclocking, there is a pin that keeps it from reclocking.

hated cuz he drives fords
Re: Ty1001

Looks good

Reclocking the stock turbo also requires you to some how re-fit the stock wastegate setup to the turbo right?

DAMN!!! you telling me that now...hahahaha just kidding.

Ryan:

Yes that would be needed to I guess. I do run a ITS minigate on X-over pipe. But its blows straigt out in the air, and thats a no no in emission tests. So i hopefully get thru inspection this week and then lock the stock WG and put on the ITS again.

Jim's clever dog. There were no telephone in the garage in the beginning so the dog came up from the house with a note that said "coffe time"
