ty vs 4500 ram dually qd cab

Im cruising along alexis rd and i passed the ram just casually and then along comes a ram srt-10 so i pick up his pace and were cruisin at a good speed in and out of traffic and i c the dually doin the same a lil ways back. after us two playin he finally turns off. well the dually either knew what i was or didnt and was seein what the lil ty could do with srt-10. so now me and the 4500 ram r like this --_ (im the top lines hes the bottom) and all i see is the front end raise to the and the rear end squats and he flys bye me and i cant see the road bc im covered in smoke. as soon as it clears i take off from the 45mph roll i was doin and catch up. So we finally catch a light . so im lookin down the side tryin to see any stickers giving me a clue to what he has other than the big sticker in the back saying i think ADRENALINE performance or something. so while im lookin i have it already on brake boost for the light and i turn my head straight and all the sudden the light turns. Ram takes off like a bat outta hell i launch and rear end kicks off to the side front wheels go other way so let off quickly and jump on it again to catch the dually and pass right after the light. I want to run him again bc we both didnt give it r all. I see diesels all the time on tv like this and wasnt really expecting a 4500 ram like this to play the way he did. I will admit for the first time racing a dually it was pretty sweet :lol:

We have some mid-low 10 second duallys running around down here. You never know what you're going to get with one of those things.

How'd you do against the SRT-10?

yeah we have diesels around here runnin 10's 11s and 12s....pretty crazy...as far as srt10...they dont screw around with the sy anymore after i put a hurtin on of their car club members on the freeway....

yeah there is one reg cab diesel ram here thats low 11 high 10. i heard 11 mostly but some say 10 u no how it goes. i didnt really race the srt10 we were kinda clowning around but he couldnt lose me thru some of the traffic and on the straight. i just couldnt believe he got that 4500 rear end to squat like that it was amazing. c'mon this is a 4500 not a 3500. it was fun but i would like to fully race him on a back road somewhere. suppose to get snow tomorrow night so the ty is put to the side for now but hopefully come wknd after get some more stories going. right now im gettin stupid gtp's etc and civics with wings and fart cans that amazingly in there heads gain like 50-100hp with them mods wanting to race and i just shake my head at them as they rev up and launch so slow. not gonna waste my time and risk hurtin the truck over somethin stupid

I watched a mid 90's diesel Ram absolutely smoke an SRT-10 Ram in the 1/4 mile, it was so damn funny. Nothing but black smoke all the way down the track.

we have a spot we all meet at and there is one ram dies reg cab that comes out with a big stack in the center of the bed. hes 11 or 10 depends on who u talk to but that thing sounds like ur at a damn tractor pull. loud and tons of smoke pourin out and launches hard too

Diesel is $4/gal here now , who would have thought after the 80's that it would cost MORE to run diesel?!

Those dually's launch good ... and a turbo v8 is no joke ---
