Ty vandalized, what would you do?

If you woke up in the morning to look out and see your syty keyed, spray painted with several vulgar words, every body panel needing new paint. What would you do?

No this didn't happen to my ty, it is in the garage on jack stands. Just a general question.

UPDATE: This really did happen, good news is he did have full coverage and it will be fixed.

mine is kept in a locked garage/shed.. but if it did happen, I'd be quite pissed.

I would be PISSED, but then smile because mine needs new paint. I could call up the insurance co. :rotf:

I would very carefuly find out (for sure!) who did it, even if it took a while (and even a few bucks). Then I would vandalize their face in the same manor that they did my vehicle . Short and sweet.

I'd find out who did it and I'd sue them for cost of repairs and another $1,000,000 for pain and suffering.

Then once I got the money I'd burn their house down with them in it :rant:

I'd get the truck fixed first. Then after I was happy with the new paint job and had time to cool down, I'd kick their lips off and burn their teeth.

any chance of getting prints off of the truck? any shoe marks in the dirt around the truck? any neighbors see or hear anything?

check to see if any spray paint cans are in the trash or on the street in the neighborhood?

all police work, but wouldn't hurt to check for yourself.. if it did happen..

I will come partly clean. This did happen to someone I know.

The police has made a personal promise he will do whatever he can to find the guy. Not my truck though.

It is a small town, cops are very good actually so we will see.

Good news is he did have coverage, $500 deductible and it needed new paint anyways. In time for nats I doubt though.

A little off topic, but my neighbors big ass rooster attacked my T-Type this weekend because he saw his reflection in the paint & thought he was fighting another rooster. I felt really bad because I shot his 11 year old sons favorite Chicken, but my neighbor said I could kill all of the chickens if that would keep me from making him pay to fix all of the scratches in the paint. He got lucky that I'm planning on a re-paint soon.

Owner told cop if he would have found them before cops got there, cop would be locking owner up instead.

Cop responded with, I can't tell you this but I would have looked the other way.

I get worried about some idiot keying my Typhoon or when I'm at school some dumb college girl slamming a door into my Typhoon.

With my custom paint job the 1st thing I did was make sure I had full coverage on it.

If it did happen to me I would be livid; I would do the best to track them down and take them to court to at the minimum pay for the deductible.

I'm sure each situation is different, back in HS my buddy had all 4 tires slashed and the school/police did absolutely nothing.

Mike thinner with water 50/50 and wash the spray paint off, 95% will come off this way the other 5% will have to be buffed off.

also happened to someone i know recently - me:

since my paint is lost anyway, i didn´t care a lot - but if i would have caught him in the act he would be shopping for a wheelchair right now.

personally i would go outside and find the closest person and shoot them, this will let everyone know you are serious. It will send a rift through the community and make people think twice before coming by your house again. eheh? hth

Off topic: About a year ago I got a little squirly with the Mustang in the rain(turning into my own road ) and hit a tree. Well, the next day I ordered a fender, got it painted, and mind you this took all the money I had. The day I finally get it back together and drive the car to school with pride because the car got shined, some jackass puts a "To metal key mark" all the way down my freshley painted fender. Never found them, and just had to drive around like that due to lack of money. I hope this kind of childish prank does not happen on the Sy. Knock on wood :tup:
