Turbulence issue?

What ever it takes!!
Do you see a problem w/ this BOV installed where it is???
Has anyone else istalled it this close to the TB???

My Tial BOV is close to where you have yours. I saw up to 24psi on a couple pulls, so I know it's not leaking.

Thanks Jeremy this makes me a feel alot better. The truck has an almost chuggin effect if you will under WOT at 4th gear.

Yup, and keep the vacuum line between the BOV and boost/vacuum source as short as possible for quicker response.

really!!!!, by that, you mean like from the intake to the bov? mine is connected to the upper intake. front bottom. my ty spools pretty quick but the bov vacuum line could use a little shortening. i guess? i really hate extra long wires and vacuum hoses. especially when they could be shortened. makes the engine bay look messy imo.

Yeah, just keep that hose as short as possible and don't tee into any other sources like your AFPR hose. That's a no-brainer.

uh houston, we have a problem! the vac line from the bov to the intake has a "t" to the afpr. bought vehicle like that. the other port in front of the intake goes to the manual boost controller. do i need to find the afpr's own source of vacuum?, if so, then where?

The fuel pressure regulator and MAP sensor both share that metal fitting at the back of the plenum - that's fine. Just don't tap into either of those critical hoses and add anything else. I was originally going to use the EGR blockoff plate for the BOV boost/vacuum source, but ended up getting a vacuum distribution block instead. So far, the BOV is working fine and not leaking up to 24+ psi. Here is a picture of what I was originally going to do with it:

I ended up using the blue vacuum block you see next to the plenum here:

Turned out I was not getting 100% TPs @ WOT. Adjusted TV cable and problem was fixed.
