turbo specs

[too many toys]

should there be any up and down play in the impeller on a stock turbo. i was checkin things over and noticed the c- clip that holds the housing on had worked its way out so i remover to check for damage , no visible but the impeller moves up and down and i am pretty sure its not supposed to

If memory serves, some play along the length of the shaft is ok, but any 'wobble' around the axis is bad.

it is deffinatly a wobble , you can move it out in any direction . great now i have to order and install anew one before thursday as i was planning on finishing out the power tour from rochester mn to madison . but then it gives me a reason to upgrade a little bit anyway :tup:
