Well just my luck, finally get everything install/hooked up so i can start running code 59, try and go to code59.org to find out what the hell im doing, and the site gets hacked and im lost!! ugh

so i have my plx wideband hooked into the factory computer, 3 bar map installed, and i grabbed a starter bin off the code59 site b4 it went down

but now when i start the truck it idles at 1500rpm and reaaal rich, in fact the wideband just comes up and says rich on it... that and my garage now smells like gas after running for a few mins so i would defiantly say its rich...

i have tried adjusting the F29c table but no matter what i do i cant get it to lean out at all, and the idle stays right around 1500rpm

i am totally lost and have no idea what im doing wrong, i just know im really frustrated right about now, think i have put maby 100 miles on the damn thing this year, i just want to be able to drive it!!!

any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated

F29c is an old closed throttle table not normally used in code59 bins.

If it is rich at idle, change f28 across the board (smaller will make it leaner) until your idle AFR is where you want. You will want to find out why the idle is so high also, make sure your not in limp home mode.

code59 should be back up late tonight, as we had to shut it down until Paul gets home to make sure nothing bad is on the server.

Re: Tuner Pro/Code 59 HELP!!!

if your PLX reads "rch" all the time, try swapping your "TX" & "RX" plugs.

mine read "rch" all the time, and the directions had the two plugs backward. swap them, and you should get a number AFR reading.

Re: Tuner Pro/Code 59 HELP!!!

well i tryed adjusting the F28 and was able to get it to idle at a good afr that way
would have been the last table i try to adjust since its called Base Pulse Constant vs Desired EGR and i don't have EGR on my truck anymore lol

is there a list of what tables i should be adjusting because at this point i have no idea, its idling good at least, now to try and make it driveable!
need to find out what tables to adjust for that...

also found in the bin i was using the desired idle was set to around 1400, changed that too 850 and it idled down right away

Re: Tuner Pro/Code 59 HELP!!!

after you feel the F28 is good. Work in the F29x. You'll do all your work in that table.

Once your into boost, work a little in the 77x. And once your fuel tables are good, move into F1 timing.

but all your work will be in F29x. dont bother with F29, or F29c
