the hoovers have an oddfire motor that sure as fuck didnt come from the dealership in his truck unless he got the way badass ASA motor option.
Mike lee's GhettoSled didnt come from the GMC dealership with a four link and 2wd did it.
holy christ its like we are on the DSM board as soon as somebody is fast that no one has heard about or uses a little different setup than norm people are all over his shit.

6.2 @120 in the 1/8th....
Thats some pretty crazy mph for a 6.2.
Picked up 28 mph between the 1/8th and 1/4.....
V-8 , and a carbed blow though setup - interesting. No way I would set one up like that. Its like taking a couple steps backwards , but low tech does work..... obviously....

I still can't get over that mph, forget the et that mph is just plain awsome and stock front/rear diffs and TC thats friggin unbeleivable. this definetely raises the bar! I hope folks will start thinking outside the box a little more, Comp412, vortecs, eagle rods & speedpro pistons definetely work but there are other options!

His truck is badass, probably the badest of all s series trucks rite now, big props to him for making such a truck.
I am not trying to stir the pot, but if guys were looking at a 1999 or 2000 camaro ss, and you were a collector, I would think you would want to check out the vin, what if it started life as a v-6 and then someone added a hood and rear spoiler and decals, all the stuff to make it look like a ss and they also put a 383 stroker motor in it, would you still buy that if you wanted a real ss.
I dont care what his truck started out as, it is the fastest awd sy or s-10 on the planet and that is awesome, a huge feat considering how many have tried to get into the 9s, I personally feal if it did not roll thru p.a.s. then it is not a real sy, but that does not matter if all you are doing is trying to go fast, it is not a museum truck sitting on blocks.
So, once again , I applaud your efforts on going fast and you have a nice looking truck there, good luck with it, and be safe, 150mph geeesshhh, got a 10 point in that thing or what?? 3

I know this is going to seem VERY odd, but did you get the turbos from a guy in Tucson, AZ? Maybe named Steve? I only ask this because he sold a pair to 'some guy in Colorado thats putting them on a Syclone'. I woulda thought they were too much, but apparantly not... Thats just awesome if you ask me....
